Message I would suspect the kingpin bearing was damaged when the wheel blew out. If true this damaged bearing (found within the knuckle arm upright) could cause a slight klunk noise particulary noticeable when the brakes are applied or hitting bumps.

It's a best guess from me, I've never experianced "klunk" but figure its not a bad thing to replace as maintenace should I be wrong/or fail to correctly diagnose from other solutions.
